I did a lot of research before deciding to work with Heather. The entire process went flawlessly, and I am extremely pleased with the WAV and MP3 files I received. I recommend them to anyone wanting to convert their beloved LPs into high-quality digital.

Heather converted old 45s and LPs to mp3 files on disk, and I loaded those files seamlessly onto iTunes. Everything sounds great.

I am so glad that I found OTR online, who have done such great work for me and my family for years now. I worked with them by mail from NJ and recommend them to everyone. First, they transferred my pianist parents' classical playing onto CDs from vinyl LPs that had preceded the digital era, adding in MP3s as well. For an even larger project, they transferred 20 years of family videos from Super8 onto DVDs, working toward a Father's Day deadline for a great gift for my husband, and providing backup on an external hard drive. Everything they've transferred for me has been excellent quality -- and very well labeled! Heather and her staff really care about what they do, and provide the personal touch.

Heather Geiger transferred over 100MG's of Choir music from 1960/1961 onto CD's and MP3 formats so that I could upload it to my 50th high school reunion web site for all my classmates to hear. I am extremely satisfied with the work that Off The Record did. They did work for me in several types of media: VHS to DVD, LP to CD, and cassette to CD. The VHS was a priceless copy of old videos I did for college, and old family videos that had been transferred from 8 mm to VHS. They were nicely labeled and chapter separated where requested. The old LP's were classic LP's not available in CD, with track separation and a reprint of the original album artwork done for the CD cases. The cassette was a compilation of music from 15 years ago done with a friend's CD's. Even though the tape had been played about a million times over the years, Off The Record had it sounding crisp and clear. Because I am local, I did not ship or receive anything by mail. I dropped off material at the place of business and they were flexible and prompt in the work and availability.

Heather was wonderful. They transferred a difficult record. one that my parents made in 1943. It was recorded on paper, not vinyl, but they did a wonderful job. I cried when I heard my parents voices for the first time in more than 2 decades.

I highly recommend Off The Record as a caring source for your valued recordings.

They now have my valued video tapes and are working to transfer them to a DVD format so I can watch my kids and my parents. Movies that I haven’t been able to watch in years will come alive again in their hands.

They took extra care with the paper records, making sure to ensure that nothing happened to the records…I have the originals for ever, but now I can hear the voices on those records.

Very good sound. Pops, clicks, and hisses were all removed. Nice CD label and cover case. And best of all, excellent customer service.

Had some old vinyl albums and could not find the songs digitized anywhere. Could have dealt with hooking up my turntable, buying software, etc – or have someone do it. Off The Record was great – when I said I really only wanted a couple songs off a few of the albums, that didn’t faze them at all. Delivered a CD with the MP3 files very quickly and well labeled. We had arranged that they would return the albums later. They were even able to remove the skips that I thought were in the albums. Communication was excellent and timely via email. Highly recommend Off The Record!
